The British Library obviously has one of the most extensive collections of material relating to British theatre in the world. Specifically to Alan Ayckbourn, there is a considerable amount of interesting material held in the Lord Chamberlain's Collection including several unique original manuscripts of his early withdrawn work. The British Library also holds the Ramsay Archive, which includes an extensive amount of correspondence between Alan and his agent Margaret Ramsay. The British Library also has copies of all published publications by and about Alan Ayckbourn. |
